The Redwood Chapter of the ACLU is having its annual meeting and potluck on Monday, April 1, 2013, at 6:00 p.m., at the Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, located at 24 Fellowship Way, Bayside, CA.

There will be a panel discussion on what to do about the ordinance regulating protests at the courthouse. The Honorable Supervisor Mark Lovelace will be part of the panel.

At the meeting, the Chapter will honor Richard Salzman with the 2012 Patriot Award for his long history of dedication to, and advocacy of, civil liberties, including bringing and winning a lawsuit against the City of Arcata to declare its panhandling ordinance unconstitutional.
